Jess Holloway

Hi I’m Jess and am currently riding for Team Watto but am really excited about the opportunity to ride with Wahoo EZ Le Col for the 2023 season. I started riding last summer, having rowed previously. I began by just riding with friends and going bike packing but found a love for structured training and riding my bike FAST as well. I missed the competitive side of rowing so tried a few local crits after only riding for a few months and loved them! This year I’ve been trying as many new races as I can including Nat B Road races and criteriums. I’ve particularly enjoyed the Town Centre crits as find I thrive on a more technical circuit; however, I’ve found myself being really comfortable in larger bunch races on the road and want to take this confidence to the next season to develop how I race tactically in a bunch. I hope next year I’ll be able to target the National Circuit Series as well as the Tour Series, while also racing the National Road Series and helping my team mates as well as myself get results. Outside of racing I’m currently studying Law at the London School of Economics as well as working part time at Sigma Sports. I graduate next year and am planning on taking the summer to focus on racing and really see what I can do, before I try and find a job which will accommodate my training schedule.
